The podcast series Full Disclosure, hosted by the comedian Eric Barry, mixes news, interviews and comedy on sexual themes: it’s sometimes serious, sometimes humorous, sometimes banal, but always life-affirming. It began in San Francisco in 2012, came to Chicago in 2014 – and in July 2015, The Chicago Reader’s annual ‘Best Of’ issue named it the ‘Best Sex-Positive Podcast’ in town.
You might think that was a distinction achieved among a very small field of competitors, but one thing is certain: Full Disclosure is popular. When, on August 27, 2014, Eric Barry presented a live version at a Chicago bar, the lines stretched right around the block. It was billed as ‘the first ever sex-positive variety show’ – and not the last, because it was such a hit that they followed it up with a run of monthly gigs through April.
So what got fully disclosed in Full Disclosure Live? For our purposes, the most important thing was the seat of this girl’s panties:
Her name is Carly, and she was a volunteer from the audience who participated in a demo session with Lady Sophia Chase. If I tell you that Lady Sophia’s honorific isn’t genuine, you’ll probably guess that she is a professional dominatrix … and this is the sort of demo she gives:
(That was at the Exxxotica Expo in Chicago the month before the Full Disclosure show.)
Since Carly was not only a willing participant but a first-timer, and since this was sex-play rather than punishment, everything was calibrated to ensuring that she was comfortable and enjoyed the experience – so in every possible sense it wasn’t a proper spanking, and not just because it wasn’t OTK. But it was an extended whacking, by hand, paddle and flogger, on Carly’s black panties – and that’s not to be sniffed at!
So hurrah for Carly, and hurrah too for the venue which stipulated ‘anything goes so long as there’s no nudity’!
The whole show was audio-recorded for the podcast, and may be heard here. (For the Sophia Chase segment, skip directly to 41m.) And, as luck would have it, part of the demo was also videoed:
